Develop and implement inventory management procedures and best practices.
Monitor inventory levels across all storage locations to ensure appropriate stock levels.
Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to forecast demand and plan purchasing.
Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, etc.).
Identify slow-moving or obsolete items and develop strategies for optimization.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and organizational policies.
Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers to track deliveries and resolve inventory-related issues.
Train and supervise warehouse and inventory staff.
Prepare regular reports on inventory KPIs, including turnover rates, shortages, and shrinkage.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in inventory management or a similar role.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a team.
Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
